Beyoncé Releases New Song ‘Die with You’ on 7th Wedding Anniversary
One of the many sweetest things a woman in love could do is to tell others of her feelings for her loved one. And if it’s coming from a well-known singer like Beyoncé, you’re sure to hear her say it all in her new song which she just released on her 7th wedding anniversary with Jay-Z.
On Saturday, April 4, Beyoncé released a new music video featuring a new song entitled ‘Die with You’. She then exclusively released the said video on her husband Jay-Z’s newly unveiled streaming service Tidal. Afterwards, she posted snippets of the said song and video on her social media accounts.
The love song was released in time of the wedding anniversary of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who have been married for seven years now and whose marriage was also blessed with their daughter Blue Ivy. The music video itself also showed a simple yet sweet side on it, as it showed Beyoncé sitting in front of a piano while singing. On the end of the said video, the camera turned and showed that her husband was actually the one recording the whole thing.
Upon the release of the song, questions were raised as to whether the song is part of a new album for Beyoncé, a promotional stunt for Tidal, simply a tribute to the couple’s wedding anniversary, or a little bit of all three, according to Bustle. The first idea was highly being toyed upon by fans since Beyonce’s last album, also named ‘Beyoncé’, was released way back in 2013. Since then, fans have been waiting for news of new music coming from her.
Unfortunately for Beyoncé’s fans, the singer has not yet released any official statements regarding her new song being part of an upcoming album. But with the release of ‘Die with You’, there’s no harm in hoping that we’d get to hear news of a new album coming up soon, right?
