We pick up where the show left off — Sheldon (Jim Parsons) leaving the apartment he once shared with Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and refusing to move in with Amy (Mayim Bialik). However, we were left wondering whether Sheldon got on the train or not.

Jim Parsons discussed with TV Line that he had not thought of Sheldon not getting on the train in the Season 7 finale. He mused that Sheldon could just show up in the apartment. Parsons even shared that he solicited information to his bosses on what could possibly happen to Sheldon, but to no avail.

“Nobody will tell me. I don’t know if they know yet. They may know, but I really don’t know if they do,” said Parsons in the TV Line interview.

Executive producer Steve Molaro revealed some details to Hollywood Reporter. When asked about the possibility of Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) being parents, Molaro clarified that it will not happen anytime soon. He pointed out that the couple is still trying to work out on what their marriage brings them, and Howard’s mother, Mrs. Wolowitz (Carol Ann Susi), is a major factor in their lives as a married couple. Molaro also confirmed recurring appearances for Raj’s (Kunal Nayyar) new apple of the eye, Emily (Laura Spencer).
