“Big Hero 6” took the movie world by storm following its release in cinemas in 2014. It really isn’t such a big surprise, though, as Disney depicted such a heartwarming story about Hiro, Baymax and Tadashi in the animated movie. Many fans are already anticipating for the release of its sequel. It has been dubbed by many as “Big Hero 7” and will feature the return of Hiro’s brother, Tadashi.

While plot details about the upcoming “Big Hero 6” sequel are still unknown, there are ongoing speculations that the film will be released in late 2017. These speculations came out following Stan Lee’s confirmation that Disney is looking into making “Big Hero 7” in the near future.

“After ‘Ant-Man,’ we’re going to start playing around with ‘Doctor Strange,’ the ‘Black Panther,’ ‘The Inhumans,’ and then we have to come back for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2,’ ‘Big Hero 6,’ ‘The Avengers,’ ‘Captain America,” Stan Lee said.

This statement gave fans an idea of what the animation company has in store for the coming years. Given that “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” has been slated for a May 5, 2017 release in theatres and “Avengers 3 Infinity War” on May 4, 2018, it only makes sense for “Big Hero 7” to be released in between those dates.

Meanwhile, Movie Pilot listed several evidences, which prove that the Tadashi is a villain storyline could work in the “Big Hero 6” sequel. According to the outlet, when Tadashi went back to save Callahan from the fire, the former seemed to have never made it out alive following the explosion.

What’s pretty interesting, though, is that Tadashi’s return could be Disney’s way of introducing Sunfire as the 7th member to the team. The outlet noted that the character has been one of the original members of “Big Hero 6” team and has been a prominent character in Marvel comics.
