Big Sean Defends Ariana Grande from ‘Diva’ Rumors; Rapper Moves On from Naya Rivera
Who says you can call Ariana Grande a diva? Boyfriend Big Sean finally steps in and sets the record straight.
In a recent interview with “The Breakfast Club,” co-host Charlamagne Tha God asked the rapper to address the latest rumors about his girlfriend. A source from InTouch claims that the pint size singer demands to be “carried like a baby” everywhere she goes whenever “she doesn’t feel like walking.”
Big Sean denied the rumors about his girlfriend’s diva-like attitude and clarifies that Ari only gets carried under extreme circumstances.
“That don’t even sound logical. No, man, she don’t get carried. I remember I was with her one time and she got carried but it was ’cause her foot was bleeding. She busted her foot, like, you know, dancing and stuff,” he told the host.
To be fair, Ari might have brought the rumors upon herself by posting two photos of her in different occasions being carried by men. In both instances, the “Break Free” singer was either too tired to walk or had her feet covered in blisters from a performance.
During his interview, Big Sean also talked about another rumor that his latest single, “I Don't F–k With You” was about his ex-girlfriend “Glee’s” Naya Rivera. Last month, the rapper posted a photo from music video with the caption, “To be honest I never gave a f**k!”
"I wanna state that when we came out with this song, you know what I'm saying, I was in…who people think this song is about, I vividly remember playing it for that person. The point is, thought, it wasn't no 'diss' song, you know what I mean? Obviously, it just fit the situation," the rapper explained.
The couple broke off their engagement in April 2014. Rivera since then married actor Ryan Dorsey in Cabo, Mexico only three months after she and Big Sean called it quits.
Do you think “I Don't F–k With You” was indeed for Naya Rivera? Is Ariana Grande really a diva? Sound off in the comments below.
