BIGBANG bested out other K-Pop groups in Billboard’s list for the summer of 2015. Read on for more details.

BIGBANG proved that they are still the group to beat. According to Yibada, the group topped Billboard’s World Digital Song chart with one of their latest songs, “Bang Bang Bang.” In addition to that, they also earned the title “Most Viewed K-Pop Music Video of the Summer.”

According to Billboard, Summer 2015 has been an exciting time for all K-Pop fans because of the tight competition between popular K-Pop groups and bands. This time, BIGBANG dominated the Billboard list. Their song “Bang Bang Bang” got over 61 million views (and counting). Not only that. They also earned the first three spots in the World Digital Song chart with the songs “Bang Bang Bang,” “If You,” and “Sober”.

According to Yibada, Psy’s “Gangnam Style” was ranked No. 4 in the chart even if it was not released this year. “Gangnam Style” was actually released in 2012.

According to Idolator, BIGBANG revealed that they are thrilled to come back together to promote their newest album “MADE.” They also added that their group is eager to show their fans their different side with their new singles. Idolator reported that the album will consist of at least eight singles. It will be recalled that each of the group’s members went on a three-year hiatus to pursue a solo career.

BIGBANG was still able to dominate the K-Pop charts despite facing strong competitions from newcomers. When asked about their secret to success, the group said that they owe their fans for everything. They also said that they always put effort in creating music that highlights their unique strength and style.

The group has obtained over 1.5 billion views on YouTube. They did collaborations with Skrillex and Diplo and they have celebrity fans which include Pharrell Williams and Emma Stone. The five-member group is still indeed one of the biggest K-Pop bands today.
