Blake Lively Reportedly Cast in Woody Allen’s Next Film
Blake Lively’s life just keeps getting better and better. Last year in December, Blake Lively, 27, and husband Ryan Reynolds, 38, was blessed with a daughter named James. Film “The Age of Adaline,” which has Blake Lively perform as main lead was released on April 24, 2015 and till now grossed $36.6 million. Now, the “Gossip Girl” star is reportedly casted in veteran director Woody Allen’s next film.
Blake Lively has just got a great feather added to her career by getting cast in Woody Allen’s next secret film project. Woody Allen’s film for which nothing has been unveiled as of yet, is set to start filming in New York City by late this year. The untitled movie project is hoped to release in 2016.
The secretive filmmaker is doing the casting for now. Blake Lively joins already casted Bruce Willis, Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg for the film. The untitled movie will be produced by Woody Allen’s usuals Letty Arsonson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson.
Apart from casting for the next untitled secret project, Woody Allen, 79, is busy in preparation for Cannes premiere of his comedy-drama based movie “Irrational Man.” The movie stars Emma Stone and “Her” movie star, Joaquin Phoenix. The movie is all set to release on July 24, 2015 in US.
Meanwhile, Blake Lively’s “The Age of Adaline” has been placed third in its second week with an estimated $6.2 million box office grossing. Before start filming for Woody Allen’s next project, Lively is also casted for Marc Foster’s “All I See Is You” in which she is playing a blind woman who regains her eyesight. The romantic drama has Jason Clarke alongside Blake Lively. There is no estimated release date for the movie.
