‘BLUE BLOODS’ SPOILERS: DANNY AND BAEZ SEARCH FOR THE ‘STEVE MCQUEEN’ STOLEN MUSTANG WHILE TENSION MOUNTS TO A NEW LEVEL BETWEEN FRANK AND ERIN
WARNING: This section contains spoilers regarding “Blue Bloods” Season 6 Episode 7 “The Bullitt Mustang.”
Read on to learn more about the stolen prized Ford Mustang that was part of the infamous “Bullitt” car chase scene. Frank and his daughter Erin balance family relations and the demands that come with their high-profile positions.
Along with the close bond between Frank and Erin, which sometimes only adds fuel to the fire between the police department and the DA office.
According to The Futon Critic, the Friday highlights for the police procedural drama series will start as out of the ordinary with Detective Danny Reagan (Wahlberg) and his three-year partner Detective Marisa Baez (Ramirez) being tasked to delve into the case of a lost and highly-valued 1968 Ford Mustang. The classic car was used by Steve McQueen himself in the iconic 1968 American movie “Bullitt”.

Anthony Edwards of ER will make an appearance as the muscle-car enthusiast/collector named Owen Cairo. Cairo refers the two police officers to his good-looking and young wife who he believes is in cahoots with whoever has stolen his most prized possession. Both Danny and Baez are in pursuit to find the Mustang while trying to find out the true intentions of the thievery.
Edwards’ character in “Blue Bloods” was described in Inquistr as a “stolid and square man”, whose sheer existence had been lead into confusion due to the loss.
On the other side of the Reagan dinner table, NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Selleck) will be locking horns once more with his daughter, Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan (Moynahan). Erin’s job in the DA compels her to side with the acting District Attorney, who gave a mandate for the detention of every cop who has “fixed” the parking tickets of their friends. This doesn’t sit well with Frank especially that Erin herself is in charge of assignment.
In the next episode of “Blue Bloods” entitled “Unsung Heroes” as cited on Ace Showbiz, a serial killer who is familiar to Danny returns. The criminal terrorizes Danny and his family which will amplify Linda’s concern for his husband’s safety.
“Blue Bloods” airs every Friday, 10 p.m. on CBS.
