‘Bourne 5’: Matt Damon Shoots for the Movie Outside Paddington Station in London

When he announced that he will be back in his role as Jason Bourne in the fifth installment of the franchise, everyone rejoiced and wondered where will this time Bourne go following his tumultuous journey? It certainly is good to know that Bourne just didn’t disappear as he just resurfaced in London when Matt Damon was spotted filming for the movie.

According to Evening Standard, everyone was in for a pleasant surprise when Matt Damon was spotted filming outside the Paddington station in London for his upcoming movie “Bourne 5.” What is delightful that people walking by stopped for a moment to see Damon discuss his scenes and even watch him shoot for them.

The “Bourne” franchise star was seen wearing a T-shirt, jeans and a brown jacket as he spoke to his associates about the scenes they were going to shoot. This isn’t the first time Damon is in London to shoot for some of his scenes for a Bourne movie as he already shot for a major scene at the London Waterloo station where he finished filming “The Bourne Ultimatum.”

Not much is known about the plot of “Bourne 5” but since Jason Bourne has returned to the franchise after having passed the torch to Jeremy Renner. He starred as Aaron Cross in “The Bourne Legacy”  so there has to be a very important reason for him to do so.

Maybe Bourne has some unfinished business with the people at the CIA and he has to take care of them for one last time or maybe there’s someone new at the CIA who is now running shop and has asked for all the old agents to be buried dead or alive.

Damon did speak about the movie once and according to him, the movie is set in a post-Snowden world, which means this has to be related to Bourne in some way. Since he himself was a part of a covert experiment in which he volunteered, he himself becomes a sensitive subject in the CIA’s eye. Maybe some more files about the covert experiment goes public and Bourne has to step in to do something about it.

In other news We Got This Covered added that “Nightcrawler” star Riz Ahmed has been confirmed to star opposite Matt Damon in “Bourne 5,” it remains to be seen if he will be on Bourne’s side or not. “Bourne 5” will release next year on July 15.
