‘Boyhood’ Wins Four Awards from Los Angeles Film Critics Awards [WATCH VIDEO]

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) has announced the list of winners on Dec, 7, 2014. "Boyhood" won four awards, including Best Picture, Actress, Director and Editing. Read on for further details.

Tom Hardy ("Locke") emerged as the Best Actor for Locke, "Ida’s" Agata Kulesza won as the Best Supporting Actress. Meanwhile, the Best Picture went to both Alfonso Cuaron's  “Gravity” and Spike Jonze's “Her.” Cuaron was also named as Best Director, with Jonze as runner-up.


For Best Actress, we have Cate Blanchett for “Blue Jasmine” and Adele Exarchopoulos for “Blue Is the Warmest Color.” Both James Franco for “Spring Breaker” and Jared Leto for “Dallas Buyers Club” bagged the Best Supporting Actor. “Birdman” only received one award from the LA critics group, for Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki‘s cinematography. However, the film has bagged a number of nominations from different award-giving bodies..
