Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie In Debt? Netflix Offers Couple $60 Million To Support Actor’s Production Company

Brangelina is one of the most looked upon couple in the world. With a pairing so perfect one would not imagine if told that even this star couple has been having a bit of problems of their own. With six children completing their family, reports suggest that the couple have been hounded by some financial troubles lately.

But when you are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, matters like this don’t matter for long. It is being reported that Netflix, one of the most popular on demand internet streaming facility has offered Brad Pitt an amount for a single project he can’t refuse.

According to KDrama Stars, which quoted a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix has offered Brad Pitt $60 million and are willing to bankroll such a huge amount for him and his production company Plan B Entertainment who envisioned a project based on “The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan” by late Michael Hastings.

One would wonder why would a star like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie be offered a little financial help from the outside. The reason for that is the luxurious lifestyle the couple has been leading over the years. When we say luxurious lifestyle, we mean travelling all across the globe in private jets and owning multiple mansions around the world. It is being said that the couple’s real estate list boasts of a $40 million mansion in Italy, $60 million chateau in France, $1.7 million home in Los Angeles and a home in New Orleans, which is currently priced at over $6.5 million. It was also because of the same financial strains that a report of the couple divorcing sprung up from nowhere, however there is no evidence supporting that.

With Netflix bankrolling the project for Mr. Pitt, he will be seen playing the role of General Stanley A. McChyrstal who had resigned after mocking Vice President of the United States Mr. Joe Biden. The project is said to be a satirical comedy instead of a drama which makes it even more risky. However if a project like this is happening, it would be good to see a star like Brad Pitt in a satirical comedy.
