Allied: Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard Film’s Gross Profit Affected By Brangelina Divorce
Allied is a World War II romantic thriller starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard now showing in theaters worldwide. Despite receiving commendable reviews from critics, it did not reach the expected gross figures. It seems that Pitt’s divorce proceeding with Angelina Jolie has affected the movie.

Being in relationship for so long, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s love life finally came to a sad end. There have been several reports earlier about their marital discord and irreconcilable differences. But fans and well-wishers never imagined their separation.
Jolie and Pitt were considered as the ideal couples of Hollywood as they have been together for almost 10 years. The couple is now battling for custody of their children which seems to have turned nasty.
The sources close to the family reveal that kids have stopped any kind of conversation with Pitt currently. He was even accused of child abuse but was later given a clean chit.
Brangelina Divorce Affected Allied Business
Their divorce reports have been swirling around in media from last six months. A lot of tabloids have been speculating reasons and possible extra marital affairs of Brad Pitt.
According to rumors, Pitt was dating his Allied co-star Marion Cotillard. Perhaps it became a prime reason of his divorce. The movie seems to have influenced by the perception which was never confirmed by Brad Pitt, as per Variety.
Allied was expected to do a business of approximately $20-25 million over its first five days of release. However, it collected only $17.7 million, finishing 4th at the box office.
Brad Pitt made sure not to interact with the media at any of his movie promotions. But he appeared by the side of Marion Cotillard at every event to promote their film, Allied.
