People Magazine recently reported that Silverman and Lena Dunham had a revealing question and answer session and their conversation was hilarious and quick-witted. Silverman was the subject for the Dunham’s “Lenny Questionnaire,” which included probing, as well as thought-provoking questions about the body part that the comedian loves the most, her first kiss memories, and favorite snacks. Silverman answered all the questions in an insightful and hilarious manner.
Silverman revealed that the body parts for which she has the most affection are her brain and boobs. She also said that her favorite snacks are Snickers bars. The comedian also said that she may or may not wish that a Miley Cyrus song was playing during her first kiss.
When asked about the music that was playing during her first kiss, Silverman said: “Ooh. Seventh-grade dance, Chris Bardoff. The song was… s*** – I’m terrible with remembering – it was either Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” or Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball.”
When asked about her power outfits, the 44-year-old revealed that she is pro-thigh. “I enjoy shorts and tights with leather boots and a hoodie. I like being covered head to toe whilst still having my thighs out. I lead with my thighs,” she shared.
Silverman also recommended a nice book to read. “Ways of Seeing, by John Berger. It’s a book about art, but it’s about everything. It’s about seeing through the prism of your own experience and everything that that means. Or at least that’s what it’s about to me – ohmygodijustblewmymind.”
According to Forward, Silverman and Dunham first met in the latter’s pre-“Girls” era, when she was assigned to interview Silverman for Paper magazine. The two ladies have been friends ever since. “Whenever I see Sara, I make a beeline for her, because being in her presence is a special sanctuary,” Dunham wrote in the introduction of her interview with Silverman.
