It was revealed that Rene Zellweger had to get hair touch-ups every few minutes because the wet and cold weather was ruining her hairstyle. She had to let down her hair for the shooting. The only thing holding her hair in place was a hair claw.
Though the role did not demand that she dress in summer appropriate clothes, she still had to throw on a coat over her costume to keep herself warm. The day she was shooting with Jim Broadbent was especially cold. The actors had chosen to keep themselves warm with heavy overcoats. The pictures shared also show the actors eating sandwiches and cracking jokes. MailOnline did a long piece on the scoop.
