Bridget Jones Update: Ed Sheeran’s Concert To Feature In Third Movie
Ed Sheeran will star in the eagerly-anticipated third movie of “Bridget Jones,” which made some of the fans’ fantasies come true. Read on.
At Ed’s Croke Park concert last month in Dublin, Mirror Online reported that some of the first scenes for “Bridget Jones’s Baby” were filmed. The highly anticipated third installment of the franchise shot scenes at the gig with the movie’s main character sitting on a mystery man’s shoulders as Sheeran performed.
The franchise featuring Renee Zellweger was no-where to be seen as producers used a stunt double so as to not arouse attention.
A film source told The Sun: ”There was no risk in filming Renée at a busy gig. But they knew the cat would be out the bag the minute people saw her at the show.
”Renée’s body double and the cameramen were in and out of the crowd as quickly as possible.”
After the success of 2001 hit, Sharon Maguire is reported to return as the director while Zellweger and Colin Firth will take up their roles again. But producers have brought in Emma Thompson to drastically rewrite parts of the script at the request of the film’s stars.
Following on from 2001’s “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and 2004’s B’ridget Jones: The Edge of Reason,” which are the third installment is expected to kickstart this autumn.
