Bruce Jenner Involved in Fatal Multiple Car Crash

As news of his transition from being a man into a woman spread along, another big news related to Bruce Jenner has been on the move. This time, it involved a car incident, which unfortunately ended with a number of injured people and a dead driver.

On Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, Jenner got himself involved in a multiple vehicle crash along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, as he was picking up his Polaris UTV after he reportedly loaned it to a wounded veterans group. According to TMZ, the accident happened around noon that day, and it was believed the Jenner was the one who caused the said accident.

In a statement released by LA County Sheriff Sgt. Philip Brooks, about 12:15 p.m. when the accident happened, the traffic on the northbound side wasn’t moving rather quickly. Then a Toyota Prius slowed or stopped during the traffic and was struck from behind by a white Lexus, which was then rear-ended by Jenner’s Cadillac SUV. The Lexus veered into the quickly moving southbound lane of PCH, where it was struck head-on by a Hummer.

The Lexus’s driver, who was proclaimed dead on the spot, was locally identified as Kim Howe, a 69-year-old widow who also happened to be a neighbor of the Kardashians in Calabasas. MailOnline further reports that as of the moment, it is unknown as to why Howe was in Malibu where the accident happened.

Aside from the uninjured Jenner and the dead female driver, seven people, composed of five children and two adults, were injured and immediately sent to the hospital. Being among those directly involved with the accident, Jenner cooperated with the cops and informed them he was not drinking at that time. He also passed a field sobriety test and even went to the nearby hospital to provide a blood sample for further needed tests.

According to Sheriff Commander Michael Parker, they are currently investigating other factors that may have caused the crash. They plan to look at the cell phone records of all the involved drivers to check if they have been using it while driving or if they caught any video evidence.
