Bumblebee to Get A Separate Movie Following ‘Transformers 5?’ Will Shia LaBeouf Reprise His Role?
Rumors started swindling around following the announcement that “Transformers 5” will be released in the near future. While these rumors have not yet been confirmed, a new report states that fan-favorite Autobot, Bumblebee will star in his very own movie. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Bumblebee has pretty much become a household name following his appearance since the very first “Transformers” movie. Bumblebee served as Sam Witwicky’s (Shia LaBeouf) very own Autobot caretaker, who transforms into a yellow Camaro and his presence remained in the franchise even after LaBeouf dropped from the project in “Dark of the Moon.”
Now, the fan-favorite Autobot (next to Optimus Prime) is rumored to star in his very own movie, Classicalite reported. The outlet cited that the rumor started following Hasbro chief executive Brian Goldner’s revelation that the outlet is looking for possible “Transformers” spinoffs in the near future.
“As we go forward, we would imagine several more ‘Transformers’ movies. Not just in the current lineage but also spinoffs and focusing on certain key characters that are beloved by the world over,” Goldner said.
The executive also mentioned of Bumblebee, whom he claims has been loved by kids all over the world and that he envisions the creation of stories about such characters in the franchise.
Meanwhile, a report from Christian Today cited another rumor, which claims that “Transformers 5” may no longer see the return of Optimus Prime, as the leader of the Autobots decided to look for their “Creators” in “Transformers: Age of Extinction.”
This report means that the “Age of Extinction” sequel may feature entirely new robots such as Cyclonus, Ultra Magnus and Scrounge.
