Sledgehammer Game’s partnership  with Activision Publisher has resulted  to “Call of Duty: Advance Warfare,” a winning game that generated  excellent reviews from critics and gaming community.  The game’s military themed science fiction campaign and first-person shooter game style has been considered to be one excellent entry for the series but also prompted improvements over instant predecessor, “Call of Duty” Ghost, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.

But Sledgehammers first entry to the franchise was not entirely easy since the studio was obliged to drop third-person shooter game “Call of Duty: Fog of War” that was set feature a narrative backdrop of Vietnam War.

More about “Call of Duty?”

Sledgehammer game designer and co- founder Glen Schofield teased the fans using his twitter account, giving fans an update on the planning stages for their next “Call of Duty” game. Schofield admitted that the team is currently on designing stage and is taking fans’ feedback into consideration. With so much excitement, he is “stoked about this one”

Here’s is Schofield’s short post via Screenrant:

“Can’t talk about the game but we listened and I am so f*%#=ing stoked about this one.”

“We’re designing a new game so in design mode I do art. That’s how I think. Probably weird but it’s my way of concentrating”

Though it’s still too early to guess what kind of game Sledgehammer is working on, but Schofield is definitely enthusiastic to go forward. Is it possible that they are working on the improved version of their third-person shooter game?

Looks like fans and gamers will have to follow Sledgehammer founders in Twitter to get more updates in the future. But for now, gamers will have to contain their excitement and wait.
