‘Captain America: Civil War’ 2016 Film News: Most Exciting New Additions
New characters and casts have been included in Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” along with the familiar casts, with only Hulk and Thor as the remarkable exclusions. Based on a report from What Culture, this article gives you the list of new recruits in the 2016 film.
Aunt May (Marisa Tomei)
Aunt May introduced in this 2016 film would look different from what we have already seen. Few people feel that Marisa Tomei is too young to play the elderly role. However, the character is going to be exciting irrespective of the age and appearance.
Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl)
The new traditional villain in this film would be Baron Helmut Zemo. Helmut is actually the son of the “original Baron Zemo, Heinrich, a villain during the World War II, in the comics. Baron Helmut Zemo character in the film is portrayed by “Rush” actor Daniel Bruhl.
Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman)
Black Panther, who would have his own film in 2018, would be introduced in this Marvel’s movie. The biopic “Get On Up” star Chadwick Boseman would portray the role. Black Panther or T’Challa becomes the King of Wakanda in the comics.
General Ross (William Hurt)
General Ross of “Captain America: Civil War” has a different style. We would see a newer version of Ross in this film. William Hurt, who has already as General Ross in the MCU, is once again playing as a different Ross in this film.
Spider-Man (Tom Holland)
We would see a different Spider-Man in this film, as “The Amazing Spider-Man” films were not up to the expectations, and because of the negotiations between Sony and Marvel. Andrew Garfield, who did a great job as Spider-Man in the two films, was unfortunate to play this role.
The 19-year-old “The Impossible” actor Tom Holland would be playing as Spider-Man. We might feel that he is “too old for the role.”
Unnamed Character (Martin Freeman)
Martin Freeman who has appeared in “Sherlock,” “The Hobbit,” and in Season 1 of “Fargo,” would be appearing in “Captain America: Civil War.” Freeman told Bad Taste through Newsarama that he would be playing the character that would work in “conjunction with the superheroes, and certain agencies that help to tame the superheroes’ power.” The character is yet to be named.
Vasily Karpov (Gene Farber)
Gene Farber would be portraying the comic character Vasily Karpov, a Soviet officer, in this film. It is expected that the character would play a decent role in bringing back the memories of Bucky Barnes.
Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, the directors of “Captain America: Civil War,” have managed to make the new additions including new heroes, new villains, and new other characters in this 2016 film. There is no doubt that the film would be one of the biggest superhero movies in terms of roster size, “huge budget,” “epic scale,” and “overarching impact” on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
