‘Captain America: Civil War’: Robert Downey Jr. Will Sport the Bleeding Edge Armor in the Movie

“Captain America: Civil War” recently unveiled its first look at the D23 Disney Expo. Audiences were thrilled at what they saw. But here’s something more interesting about the movie. Fans somehow have always been fascinated with what gear/armor will Robert Downey Jr.’s character Tony Stark will be sporting in every Marvel movie he appears in, this time around it was no different. Read on for more details.

According to Heroic Hollywood, the latest armor that Tony will be sporting to tackle the upcoming battle with former “Avengers” ally Captain America is the Mark 46 aka the Bleeding Edge armor.

This armor is considered to be one of its kind and is kept by Tony for special occasions. The power at which the armor operates is also massively impressive. It can go head to head with Thor, beat up an already angry Red Hulk basically reaching the maximum advancement at Tony’s will. It is made out of Nano-machines and can turn into anything that Tony wants.

If this has not impressed you then you would be surprised to know that the armor also enhances Tony’s already genius level intellect and helps him attain superhuman fighting and learning skills.

Additionally the armor has weapons like large guns and cannons embedded to it. Also the repulsors or the little blue lights on the suit around the chest, hands and legs act as cameras and offer Tony a 360-degree view of his surroundings.

Screen Rant reported that Tony purposely kept the armor for close encounters that he may have in near future. The media outlet also added that the armor can create an energy sword. It is basically a fluid substance that has been kept inside Tony’s body so that it can suit him up at any time during a battle.

With Tony sporting this kind of armor in the movie certainly clears out one thing, he is aware of going head to head with Steve Rogers aka Captain America and what potential harm could the veteran do to him if he was to engage him in a hand-to-hand combat. He would certainly need the best equipment he has.
