‘Captain America: Civil War’ Scarlett Johansson’s Success on Pars with the Likes of Elon Musk; How?
“The Late Show with Steven Colbert” just revealed its big time guest lineup for Sept. 8-Sept. 11. Will SpaceX and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk appear with “Avengers: Age of Ultron” star Scarlett Johansson? Read on for more details.
The guest lineup of “The Late Show with Steve Colbert” is going to have successful personalities from the field of entertainment, entrepreneurs, transportation, and others.
The schedule, revealed via Deadline, will feature “Hail, Caesar!” actress Scarlett Johansson, 30, and business magnate Elon Musk, 44, on Sep. 9. The show will also interview “Bad Blood” singer Kendrick Lamar, 28, and treat viewers with a performance.
Johansson recently reached the number two spot in Forbes’ list of world’s highest-paid actresses, which had Jennifer Lawrence placed at number 1. The “Avengers: Age of Ultron” star had a whopping fortune of $35.5 million before taxes and fees.
The list also revealed Johansson able to double her wealth this year compared to her $17-million paycheck in 2014, which reportedly meant that her reputation is slowly on the rise. So how did she do it?
Scarlett Johansson: How She Reached the No. 2 Spot
Johansson was able to create a “sustainable career” through stabilizing the offers she received. Her career started to skyrocket when she starred as Black Widow in Marvel films.
Furthermore, the success that “Iron Man 2,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” had contributed greatly to her career. All three Marvel films combined had a box office hit of $2.7 billion.
Along the way, Johansson’s skill as an actress proved to be a top-notch as it spurred her to have her own action movie. Her first solo science action film “Lucy” also grossed around $458 million at global box office on just a $40 million budget, 10 times than what the producers originally shelled out.
Right now, Johansson can reportedly ask a talent fee of $10 million per movie, upfront. It was also said that she received $17.5 million just to cast her for the upcoming “Ghost in the Shell.”
This is almost ridiculous. But that’s Johansson – one of the talents in this world at its finest and whose success is now on par with the likes of Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Scarlett Johansson is set to star in “Captain America: Civil War” as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow.
