‘Captain America: Civil War’ to Have Daniel Bruhl Play as Baron Zemo

With “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Ant-Man” only waiting for their opening to hit this year, Marvel is now setting the preparations for the production of their film line-up for next year with “Captain America: Civil War.” Meanwhile, speculations are suggesting that Daniel Bruhl’s possible role is the villain Baron Zemo. Read on to know more about the details of this scoop.

If there is a predicted hot success, then that will be showcased by a prominent Studio in Hollywood, it would have to go to Marvel with their Phase 3 superhero movie plan. This year, they have “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Ant-Man,” and one of their films for next year, “Captain America: Civil War,” is currently in production. With all the updates, recent speculations are suggesting that a newcomer, Daniel Bruhl, could be suiting up as the villain Baron Zemo.

According to Screen Rant, Marvel cast Daniel Bruhl in November 2014 by Marvel for an undisclosed role. However, recent speculations are now implying that he will be playing a roll from the dark side. After a series of process for confirmation, Bruhl is set to play the villainous Baron Zemo and will be making his first appearance in Cap’s third movie, “Captain America: Civil War.”

Despite the confirmation, such claim is still unofficial without Marvel or Disney’s announcement. Still, it doesn’t narrow down the fact that the actor is very much suitable for the role with his active German connection and the way he is regarded as “one of the top villains speculated on from readers and fans” alike. Plus, if things really pan out, then it could be his introduction for the role that he will play distinctively in “Doctor Strange.”

Should Daniel Bruhl be part of “Captain America: Civil War,” he will be starring alongside Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Frank Grillo as Crossbones and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther. The film will arrive in theaters on May 6, 2016.

That concludes our scoop on Daniel Bruhl playing as the villain Baron Zemo. Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates on upcoming films.
