Carly Rae Jepsen Shoots Her Latest MV With Tom Hanks & Justin Bieber

What better way to make a crowd going in the middle of a very cold day by dancing with some stars? This is what Carly Rae Jepsen has in store for her latest music video, with actor Tom Hanks and good friend Justin Bieber dancing along with her.

On Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, the freezing streets of SoHo, New York City spiced up when Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber and Tom Hanks danced along it with a crowd of backup dancers who are all bundled up to brave the New York cold. As it turns out, they were shooting for the music video of Jepsen’s latest song “I Really Like You.”

It has also been rumored that the video will be used for a Fiat commercial, though this rumor has not yet been addressed. In any case, it would seem rather strange, as there weren’t any cars shown in the shoot.

Everyone was definitely in the groove despite the cold as they were shown to be dancing quite well. After the shoot, Bieber tweeted, “@carlyraejepsen @scooterbraun today was a great day. I need some rest 🙂 #IReallyLikeYou video is gonna be amazing.”

Although some were pleasantly surprised to see Tom Hanks in the MV shoot, as it turned out, it wasn’t that surprising at all. Apparently, Hanks is a good friend of Scooter Braun, Jepsen’s and Bieber’s manager. In fact, he was also invited at Braun’s wedding last July 2014, wherein Braun’s talents made a performance for the celebration.

As for Bieber and Jepsen, they have quite a good relationship, because not only do they have the same manager, Bieber is also the one who reportedly referred her to Braun. Back in January 2012, while visiting in Canada, Bieber heard Jepsen’s hit song “Call Me Maybe.” He then contacted Braun to have Jepsen sign in his label School Boy Records.
