Carrie Underwood Covers Whiz Khalifa’s ‘See You Again’ At Big Barrel Music Festival

Carrie Underwood covered Whiz Khalifa’s song, “See you again” at the Big Barrel Music Festival.

Carrie Underwood seems to know her music. If the whole country music scene doesn’t work out for her, she could join the rap cribbers for a musical night. Fans discovered that Carrie can carry a rap tune just as easily. In other words, the girl’s got talent by the busload. Fans discovered this at the Big Barrel Music Festival when she mashed the Wiz Khalifa song “See You Again” into her own tune of the same name, Fox News reported.

Underwood entered into the performance with her famous song “See You Again,” but midway through, decided to perform the chorus of Khalifa’s hit of the same name, working the parts of the featured artist on the track, Charlie Puth. The band joined in the fun and moved right into the verse without missing a beat.

The country star eventually jumped in with the rap portion of the song too, managing time flawlessly and pretty much going with the flow of the rhythms before cracking into laughter and returning back to her own track. The crowd erupted in cheers, applauding her unexpected style and skills and joining in the fun she was having on stage.

Carrie kept switching back and forth between the two tracks, eventually coming back to the beginning of on her own song. Underwood tweeted after the show saying, “Thanks to all who came out to the BigBarrelFest! You were such an amazing crowd! Im so happy theres no way Im gonna to [sic] sleep tonight!”

Carrie is a new mom. She is busy taking care of her little bundle of joy, four-month-old Isaiah, but that doesn’t mean she’s not making music. Carrie Underwood is working on new music for her upcoming fifth album. She has also placed her No. 1 hit with “Little Toy Guns” from her latest album, “Greatest Hits: Decade #1,” on the charts.
