‘Castle’ Season 8 Episode 9 ‘Tone Death:’ What to Expect when the Show Returns Next Year?
Now that “Castle” officially went on its Mid-season break, the leading pair of Beckett and Castle will only be coming back on screen next year on 1st February with its ninth episode titled “Tone Death.” With all that has gone down in the last eight episodes between the two of them, rumors suggest there’s something major, which is coming fans way in the upcoming episode.
According to International Business Times, Mid season finale saw Beckett and Castle re-uniting since Beckett realized that she wouldn’t be able to go solo moving forward, however, there’s something really interesting, which is currently being rumored.
If sources are to be believed, Kate will be pregnant in the upcoming ninth episode and since they in a way had a reunion this possibility could become possible. Apart from the good news, both Kate and Rick will be seen solving the murder of an a cappella group member, for which they will have to get separated once again. Things could take an interesting turn for both of them if Kate would end up being pregnant.
Talking about the possibility, “Castle” co-show runners stated that idea is compelling but Kate is not getting impregnated anytime soon. This doesn’t mean they didn’t think about the possibility, elaborating on it, they mentioned that this idea did strike their mind once but since it wasn’t really coming across as appealing to the plot, they let the idea go.
Besides this, they found it really challenging as to where would Beckett’s story go if she did get pregnant. Apart from this, “High School Musical” alumni Corbin Bleu will be starring in the episode as the leader of the rival, a cappella group.
Latin Post added that in the upcoming episode, Rick’s mysterious disappearance would be looked into even more. Maybe it was because of something that Rick saw that his memory was wiped clean and he didn’t really remember anything about his whereabouts during his disappearance.
“Castle” will now return next year on Feb 1st.
