“Castle” Season 6 Episode 19 “The Greater Good” Recap:
Check out ABC‘s full recap of the previous episode which aired on March 24, 2014. “Castle” Season 6 Episode 19 “The Greater Good” focused on the case surrounding the death of a broker in Wall Street named Peter Cordero (Andres Perez-Molina). His cause of death was a bullet wound in the chest.
Unknown to many, his death was not surprising. His body was discovered by a mysterious woman who called in from a nearby pay phone. A relative told them that she did not know the identity of the lady. It was later proven that she is an important puzzle piece in the investigation.
Castle and his team interviewed Jaime Burman (Kevin Kilner), the head of the investment firm where the victim worked. He considered Cordero as one of his best employees. He also told them that the victim was recently seen in the company of a guy who looks like a thug.
Cordero was later identified as a mole for the office of the U.S. Attorney and later involved in dangerous deals on bank accounts.
Castle also learned that Cordero is somewhat connected with the mysterious woman who is actually Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephanie Goldmark (Laurie Fortier). On the other hand, Captain Gates (Penny Johnson) identified the U.S. Attorney involved in the case was her estranged sister.
The case continues to get complicated as a transaction of a secret $25 million surfaced involving the victim who tried to take the money for himself and not testify for the investigation. It was his boss who gave him the large amount of money to not testify.
They also learned that Stephanie was the one who was behind it all to bust Burman for his wrong doings. Though the death of Cordero was still unanswered.
Meanwhile, the crime-fighting duo had talks of getting married on a roller coaster. Castle’s guests list reached 400 people.
The episode ends with Castle and Beckett while doing a challenge on listing one person who needs to get to the wedding. In the end, both answers were “You.”
