CBS’ TV Series ‘The Big Bang Theory’ To Go Off Air?
CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory” is one of the most watched comedy TV series. And if it goes off air, people definitely would get to laugh a lot less. But is “The Big Bang Theory” really ending?
According to IndependentUK, lately sitcom, “The Big Bang Theory” has turned all spicy. Wedding bells are ringing for Leonard and Penny, Sheldon and Amy had blissful moments of physical intimacy, and Raj too has a sweetheart now. So, if everything is so settled, it is obvious that rumors would rise that the show is ending.
The publication reports that the TV series is not ending this season. This can be said because CBS has renewed it for Season 10 that covers time span between 2016-2017. So fans can take a sigh of relief that at least Season 10 is going nowhere. But what about “The Big Bang Theory” Season 11?
According to CinemaBlend, showrunner, Steve Molaro has stated, “The reality is that maybe season 10 is the ending point. The real answer is I don’t know and all I can do right now is go episode to episode and try to make each one the best that we can.” He added that there are many episodes left for “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 and even if this season was the end of the TV series, he has no time to think about or grieve before it actually happens.
The statement suggests that the future of “The Big Bang Theory” is not yet decided. So, fans keep your fingers crossed and keep telling the creators that you want to see more of “The Big Bang Theory.” Maybe the things are other way round and the showrunner just didn’t want to disclose the real information. It can be that he didn’t want to give the heartbreaking news right now that the TV series is ending after Season 10 and wants to wait till the season 10 ends.
If “The Big Bang Theory” would not have been ending after Season 10, then as usual creators and the cast would have been gushing that the show is number 1 among the 18-49 age group people; it is worth pointing out. But something like this is not happening.
Well, whether showrunner Molaro knows that the show is ending or not, the cast, creators and staff would happily celebrate 200th episode of “The Big Bang Theory” soon. Fans, stay positive, if any TV series gets huge viewership, it is unlikely the show goes off air.
