Charlie Hunnam Reveals How Friendship Was Bigger For Him Than The ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Movie
Charlie Hunnam moved away from “Fifty Shades of Grey” two years back. This film adaptation from E. L. James was eagerly anticipated and it is quite possible that the actor of “Sons of Anarchy” would have hit super stardom if he would have stayed in there.
Charlie Hunnam got the opportunity to work in other high profile movies, such as the upcoming movie from Guy Ritchie which is being named as “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur.” However, the actor is still being haunted by the question of fallout from “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
According to vanityfair.com, Hunnam finally spoke about his feelings during an interview saying that his decision has been emotionally destructive. It was certainly not a sensible decision to stop working in a project which stars Dakota Johnson.
Hunnam went on to say that he was not troubled by the sexual content of the film or portray of the character Christian Grey, but it was about the promise that he had made with is film maker friend Guillermo Del Toro.
According to usmagazine.com, the actor discloses that he had given the word almost a year back to Guillermo that we will work for “Crimson Peak.” Hunnam states that Guillermo has enough time to find someone else for the role, and people who know him believed that it was an insane decision. At the end of the day, what matters is that he did not ditch his pal.
People had come up to him and said that he is crazy, and that Del Toro has enough amount of time to find someone else, and that he should continue with what he is doing. But, he replied, “I cannot. He is my friend.”
