Chloe Grace Moretz Remarks the End of the ‘Kick-Ass’ Franchise

The 2010 was the year that marked the astounding debut of Chloe Grace Moretz as the cunning, foul-mouthed young girl who knew how to do some serious stunts in “Kick-Ass.” Flash forward to the present, the actress who brought the character of Hit Girl to life finally bids her adieus for the further installments of the action-comedy superhero flick “Kick-Ass.”

Chloe Grace Moretz played the character of Mindy MacCready slash Hit Girl in the twisted superhero movie “Kick- Ass.” She wasn’t the type of actress who debuted into the cinematic scene using the elements of personifying adorable and sweet. Instead, she used mouth-gaping moves and spunky diction to stun the hearts and capture their interests. She invigorated the viewers with her massive tactical skills, and we are forever in awe of her. But it would seem that she will be putting the costume down for good as she will no longer be reprising the role for the second time.

In the feature of Cinema Blend, the young star explained that her journey as Hit Girl has now come to an end due to the bad box office standings of “Kick-Ass 2.”

“Sadly, I think I’m done with the character. Hit-Girl was a very cool character, but I don’t think there will be any more movies. You make these movies for the fan-boys, but nowadays everyone seems to pirate them rather than watch them in the movie theater. Kick-Ass 2 was one of the number one pirated movies of the year, but that doesn’t help us because we need box office figures. We need to prove to the distributors that we can make money from a third and a fourth movie – but because it didn’t do so well, we can’t make another one,” stated Moretz in the Cinema Blend report.

In the conclusion of the “Kick-Ass” franchise, Moretz admitted that she was disappointed with the turnout, but she’s not completely closed to the idea of taking in action roles. According to Worst Previews, she is actually keen on searching for possible superhero characters in books and comic books as of late.

Be that as it may, the young actress is actually busy with some other movie projects, and she stars in the tearjerker flick “If I Stay.” It is a best-selling novel by Gayle Forman. In the added information of Digital Spy, Moretz is set to star in two more book adaptations: “Dark Places” by Gillian Flynn and “The Fifth Wave” by Rick Yancey.

That concludes our scoop on Chloe Grace Moretz stating that Hit Girl and the “Kick -Ass” franchise altogether has come to an end. Continue to check out Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates in the entertainment industry.
