CHRIS BROWN DROPS SEXY AND SULTRY NEW SINGLE ‘COUNTERFEIT’ FEATURING RIHANNA
The Chris brown and Rihanna fandom has no chill. Brown recently dropped a mixtape bomb which apparently features ex-beau, Rihanna. So does that mean they are back together? So sorry to disappoint you lovelies. No matter how we want it to be true, a recent report has revealed that the single was pre-recorded.
We all have been eagerly anticipating Rihanna’s and Chris’ new albums, ‘ANTI’ and ‘Royalty’, to be released on 4th and 18th of December, respectively. But on November 27th, Brown released a mix tape named ‘Before the Party’ which features a sexy and sultry song called ‘Counterfeit’ which is a duet with Rihanna. And now we are going absolutely bonkers because it sounds Ah – mazing! But the question is why did Brown release the pre-recorded track with Rihanna only NOW? Is Chris trying wooing Rihanna by revisiting their old flame? Let’s find out.
Rihanna and Brown started dating in 2008 and were quite the perfect couple. But it didn’t work out due to Chris’ aggressiveness and domestic violence issues. The track Brown released also features Wiz Khalifa and Kelly Roland and its undoubtedly a smacking hit.
The surprise of the new song took quite a toll on us as it was completely out of the blue. As per the reports of Hollywood Life, “Rihanna wanted to be featured on Chris’ new album and do collaboration with him… She would be hurt if she wasn’t [on his new album]”. Well looks like Chris still values his former lady love. According to Yahoo Celebrity UK, the mixtape has 34 tracks which are collaborated with Wale, Tyga, Fetty Wap, and French Montana. ‘Counterfeit’ lyrics contains, “I keep looking for love, can’t find it in a party, in a whole room full of bodies/ I keep looking for love, dying over diamonds.” Damn Chris! That’s totally smoking!
