Chris Pratt and Chris Evans Are Mortal Enemies Now

Star Lord and Captain America are sworn opponents now! That is to say, Chris Pratt and Chris Evans have been at each other’s “throats” lately… because its Super Bowl season.

Despite having the same first names, Marvel action stars, Chris Pratt and Chris Evans aren’t shaking hands anytime soon. Apparently, they’ve been at odds over their choice of Super Bowl teams, and they’ve even launched a Twitter “war” over the whole thing.

With Seattle-raised Pratt cheering for defending champions, the Seattle Seahawks, and Boston-born Evans betting on the New England Patriots, the two well-built actors have drawn lines in the sand and declared themselves each other’s sworn foes.

Pratt rooted for his team with a very Star Lord tweet:

To which Evans responded to with:

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star, not to be outwitted, replied with:

The tweet war between the Marvel superheroes continued, with the “Avenger” actor setting the stakes for a wager, and Star Lord challenging Captain America to dress in his stars and stripes costume and fly a Seahawks flag atop the roof of the Seattle Children’s Hospital if his Patriots team lost.

Evans promptly agreed to the waiver and demanded that Pratt show up at the Christopher Haven non-profit home for children with cancer in Boston dressed as Star Lord and wearing a Tom Brady jersey.

It seems both stars are avid football fans, and if their football rivalry results in an awesome bet in the name of charity, then it’s a win-win for all parties concerned.

Pratt even goaded Ellen DeGeneres, a Green Bay Packers fan, over a Seahawk’s win, posting a celebratory photo with rapper Macklemore on Twitter.

It seems nobody is sacred to Pratt when it comes to the Seattle Seahawks.

Who do you think will win the Super Bowl? Captain America or the Star Lord?
