Chris Soules is ‘Bachelor’ On Season 19: See First Official Picture [WATCH VIDEO]

After his heart has bee broken by Andi Dorfman in last season of “The Bachelorette,” Chris Soules will now select one heart and live happily thereafter. We have also reported earlier that Chris Soules is going to be the next “Bachelor.” Read on for further details about "The Bachelor” casting.

Chris Soules, who works as a corn farmer, was born on Nov. 6, 1981 in Arlington, Iowa, United States. ABC has recently released a new promotional picture for “The Bachelor." Click here to see the picture. 


The32-year-old Midwesterner is looking great in his perfectly tailored suit and chiseled physique in the picture. ABC also added an accompanying tagline, which reads: "Traditional. Classic. All-American."

Soules is clad in bespoke dark blue suit with checkered blue tie and matching pocket handkerchief in the new promotional picture. The 32-year-old Iowa farmer leaned against a rustic wood door while posing for the picture.

With a coy smile on his face and a thin layer of facial hair, he is looking drop-dead handsome in a thin layer of facial hair. Soules came third on “The Bachelorette" Season 10 after being discarded by 27-year-old Andi Dorfman. Previously, Dorfman asked Chris to go home and instead picked two other finalists Josh and Nick to join her in the fantasy suite. Later, she decided to tie the knot with Josh Murray.

'I just had my heart broken,' Chris said after his adieu in July 14, 2014 episode of “The Bachelorette.”

As there is common saying that time hurts and time heals. He was healed promptly by the ABC’s announcement in August that Chris had been selected as the next star of “The Bachelor.” Now  25 women will vie for his hand in marriage on the season 19 of “The Bachelor.”

The last season of The Bachelor featured former pro soccer player Juan Pablo Galavis.  Galavis recently returned to bachelor status after separating from the winner Nikki Ferrell.

"I believe in the process. I believe in what I went through on the previous show.That's why I'm doing it. I wouldn't do it if I didn't feel like there was potential," said Soules on Good Morning America in August.

"The Bachelor" Season 19 premieres on Jan. 5, 2015 on ABC.
