Coldplay’s Chris Martin Ran Over Paparazzi After Date Night With Gwyneth Paltrow

Did Coldplay frontman Chris Martin just ran over a paparazzi during a date night with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow?

We know paparazzi can get quite annoying, but do you really have to run them over by your Jeep? According to TMZ, Martin allegedly hit the photographer on the way out of the parking lot of Giorgio Baldi Restaurant in Santa Monica. The report was running up to the vehicle to take a quick snap shot of the couple with their two kids when he got hit. An ambulance immediately attended to the pap and took him to the hospital.

The actual collision was not photographed. Instead, what we just saw was the pap down on the ground being attended by paramedics. He was later seen being taken away on a stretcher.

TMZ, however, found the entire incident fishy at the very least. The media outlet reports that there was another photographer seemingly waiting to take photo on the other side of the street.

“It’s unclear why a cameraman would be so far away, because there was a clear shot of the family from the restaurant side… right on the sidewalk. In fact, three other photogs were perched right there,” TMZ observed.

What’s even more peculiar was that the injured pap was looking directly into the camera while he’s being taken away on a stretcher.

Was the entire “accident” nothing but a scam?

Former couple Paltrow and Martin has always been a paparazzi favorite, especially since they had announced their separation last year. Despite calling their marriage quits, the two had been spotted several times together, fueling speculations that they were back together.
