Colin Trevorrow Director ‘Jurassic World’ Hints The Next Movie To Be Different From The Usual Theme Park

The record breaking director Colin Trevorrow has decided to unburden himself from the directional work for the sequel of “Jurassic World” and appoint someone else for the job. However, he can’t resist the temptation to talk about the possible plot for Jurassic World movie. He along with the screenwriter Derek Connolly will work on it.

Trevorrow, age 38, speaks out that there will be something different and other than a group of dinosaurs in the sequel of box-office hit Jurassic World film, as per the Christian Today. During Colin Trevorrow interview with Wire UK it was revealed that viewers of the movie are feeling bored by looking at the same plot with the same dinosaurs chasing people out in the confines.

He feels that they cannot keep pleasing viewers just on the theme park and that by using this science they can provide much more than this entertainment. He states that for example, nuclear power was first used only to make bombs, later on it was found that they can be a valuable source of energy as well.

Other than penning down the next episode for the new franchise that is inspired from Michael Crichton’s novels, he will also coordinate with director Steven Spielberg – the original maker of “Jurassic Park” and who is the executive producer of the sequel. Frank Marshal is also expected to join the team and supervise the production of film.

“Jurassic World”, after it was released early in June has broken several box-office records. As of July 26 it has grossed a total earning of more than $1.5 billion and it went on to become the highest earning movie both in the Unites States and the rest of the world.

It also has to its name the most successful opening weekend box-office title as it accumulated more than $200 million across the US. Lead movie stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Patt will continue with their earlier role as operations manager Claire Dearing and park animal trainer Owen Grady, respectively. Other than these two actors, things are yet unclear as to who will play the other characters in the film.
