Madonna was recently reported to be in a completely regretful mood on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 when she was concerting in Madison Square Garden. This was the first out of the three New York City dates on her current Rebel Heart Tour. She said that she got a feeling of nostalgia because she had not performed Madison Square Garden since thirty years and she was getting crazy. She also acknowledged the love and the support that she got from her followers that made her survive for such a long time. Read on.

This powerful singer showcased her onstage talent and delivered an impactful performance, with different innovative instruments while reviving her old hits. From the “Material Girl” to “La Isla Bonita,” she had actually hit the floor and made the spectators awestruck at once. Amy Schumer, the American comedian and writer, who was drinking champagne, when asked as to who could be better for opening up for a singer like Madonna, she said any band could do it, stylistically.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the most amazing part of the show was a setup of the Southern where Madonna wore a jeans and a shirt and was trading in her smolder for a smile.

Towards the ending of the show, Madonna made a sock as a puppet on the hands of Schumer and told her that “I am a sock, bitch” when Schumer was about to leave the stage. Schumer, quite wittily ran into laughter of tears. Madonna’s attempt to make an improv on stage was not that much successful and was compared to a car which switched lanes by rolling out, according to Billboard.

The show ended up with the hits like “Holiday” where this 57-year old singer paraded in an American flag and the dancers who were dressed up in Gatsby-style marched in exultant relief. They had savored and owned Madison Square Garden. Madonna, performing even after 30 years did not leave her composure. She dominated MSG on that day in the same way like she took over the New York City 30 years before.
