Could Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie’s Feud Really Be Over?
It’s no secret that Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have not been in good terms, especially with Brad Pitt in between them. Now, rrumor has it that Aniston is ready to make friends with Jolie. Is this true?
After the Critics’ Choice Awards held last Thursday, Jennifer Aniston shares that its time to bury the hatchet and that their rivalry is already getting “tiresome.”
Unfortunately, the people who arranged the ceremony’s seating charts made sure that the two actresses would be situated far from one another. This way, any awkward run-ins could be avoided, especially since this was the first event the two actresses attended since the 2009 Oscars. Photos from the event shows that Jolie and Aniston were seated three tables apart.
Joining on the 45-year-old “Cake” actress’ table was her fiancé, 43-year-old Justin Theroux. Meanwhile, the 39-year-old “Unbroken” director arrived on her own, with no sight of her husband and Aniston’s ex, Brad Pitt.
The rift between the two actresses stemmed from what happened while the 51-year-old Pitt was filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” with Jolie. During this time, Pitt was still married to Aniston until they divorced in 2005. According to Jolie, the two fell in love on set while filming the movie. After nine years, the two have already become parents to six children. They have also tied the knot in a solemn and private ceremony in 2014.
Because of the conflict between the two, the public has always kept an eye out on any interactions they will be involved in. But after nine years, it seems like Aniston is ready to move on from her previous marital worries.
When asked to confirm about the gossip going on about her and Jolie, Aniston responded that she thinks it is “slowly coming to an end.” As she is trying to build bridges, she did not deny the fact that they had a feud. But this did not stop her from praising Mrs. Pitt’s latest project, “Unbroken.”
Aniston shares that the movie was “so beautiful and wonderful.” She believes that Jolie did a “gorgeous job” directing the film. The former “Friends” star also added that “it’s time people stop with that petty b****** and start celebrating great work.” Aniston feels like the “silliness” between her and Jolie is already “tiresome and old.” Finally, she closes by comparing the news with an old leather shoe —“No, let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes.”
Could they be reconciling anytime soon?
