‘Crimson Peak’ Spoilers: Who is Going to be the Villain? Is it Sir Thomas Sharpe’s Mother?
Ever since the trailer of “Crimson Peak” hit the internet, the world is just counting the days when they will be able to see Guillermo del Toro’s gothic drama film and there are so many speculations regarding the upcoming movie.
In the trailer, we got to see the villainous ghost and ever since then it has been the biggest mystery of the film. But now according to Funko, which recently revealed different collections of Pop! Vinyls for the release of upcoming film. Among the important ones, the release also included “Crimson Peak” are Sir Thomas Sharpe, Edith and the ghost which is currently known as Mother Ghost!
If this speculation is correct then it suggest that Thomas Sharpe and Lucille’s mother might play the antagonist in the upcoming film.
According to Fashion and Style, the villain shown in the trailer might just be Sir Thomas Sharpe’s sibling’s own parent. At the very same time, she could be an older resident who used to live in their ancestral mansion. Although the entire image of the villain was not shown, as the released trailer only shows hands, feet, and other pieces of her.
The upcoming gothic film is also very famous these days because of the incestuous relationship which the world is going to see between Sir Thomas Sharpe, played by Tom Hiddleston and Lucilee, played by Jessica Chastain.
Not only the sexuality between brother and sister is something the fans are waiting to see but also, the extend beyond the brother-sister relationship and among it, there are going to be two separate triangles, one between Edith Thomas and Charlie Hunnam’s Dr. Alan McFichael and another one between Thomas Sharpe, Edith, and Lucille.
All of the speculations will be revealed on October 16 when the gothic drama film will hit the theatres. Apart from Charlie Hunnam, Chastain, and Hiddleston, the film also star few major actors like Mia Wasikowska, who is going to play Edith Cushing, Burn Gorman, Leslie Hope, Doug Jones. The upcoming film is penned by Del Toro with Matthew Robbins.
