Crystal Harris is Sorry for Comments About Hugh Hefner
Crystal Harris is sorry for things she said about Hugh Hefner on Howard Stern’s radio show, the Playboy playmate tweeted Thursday night.
Harris, the former fiance of Playboy magazine mogul Hefner, tweeted that Stern was “harsh” in his interview style, she was “unprepared” for it, and she said some things that she should not have said.
The 25-year-old Harris appeared on Stern’s radio show on Tuesday. When prompted by Stern to give details about the 85-year-old Hefner’s bedroom style, she said he lasted “two seconds” and she was not turned on by him.
After the interview, Hefner tweeted about it, calling his ex-fiance a liar and saying she was “lost.”
Harris and Hefner met at a party at the Playboy mansion on Halloween of 2008 and the couple began dating in 2009. They had planned a June 2011 wedding, but Harris called off the engagement on June 14, just five days before the wedding. Playboy magazine’s June issue, which had already reached customers’ mailboxes and store shelves just days before the couple’s relationship ended, featured Harris on the cover with the headline, “Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner.”
Hefner tweeted a response to Harris’ apology, saying he does not blame Stern and that the show’s producers should not have booked his ex-fiance on the show at “this sensitive time.”
