Cumberbatch Credits His Sexiness From Playing ‘Sherlock’

Benedict Cumberbatch gave credit to the magnificent character of Sherlock Holmes, that he portrayed on the BBC TV Series, to escalate his sex quotient in the eyes of the audience.

The 39-year-old says he is labeled as as a sex symbol because the extended part of the audience has found the character of “Sherlock” extremely persuasive with his own diction.

The actor was present for a private family affair in Mottistone on the Isle of Wight. He and his new wife, Sophie Hunter, have welcomed their firstborn child three months back and it was the time for the junior Cumberbatch’s christening where the “Holmes’” was present. According to The Sun, Benedict was dressed in a dark blue suit to complement Sophie’s elegant two-piece cream trouser suit. They opted for the same Southern coastal island where the duo had tied the knot in an incredible and lavish wedding ceremony. The junior Cumberbatch has been named as Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch, as Benedict announced.

Multiple sources have mentioned the excerpt that he stated on the event of his son’s christening, while talking about his own charm. He made an opinion that he was not tagged as a suave one until he essayed the role of the classic detective Sherlock Holmes. It is only a reflection and appreciation of the work that bred his charisma among the masses.

He was heard saying, “I certainly remember when I was an adolescent and despairing why girls weren’t interested in me. I’ve always maintained that “Sherlock” is sexy and people are merely projecting his cold, brilliant, charming, flawed self onto me.”

We consider it as Benedict’s humble generosity to transfer his gorgeousness to “Sherlock’s” striking attractive and compelling persona.
