D23 Expo 2015 Revealed First Look Of Upcoming Flicks
The biennial event D23 Expo has been the main attraction for its followers since its inception. This D23 Expo which went through Aug. 14-16, 2015 at Anaheim Convention Center at California became one of the most exciting expo until now. Read on to find out the major screenings’, previews and first looks’ of upcoming movies.
John Lasseter, the Chief Operating Officer of Pixar and Walt Disney hosted the show with the unveiling of first looks’ of movies like “The Good Dinosaur,” “Finding Dory,” “Zootopia,” “Toy Story 4” and “Moana.” In a joint venture by Pixar and Walt Disney, there were live presentations, interactive display of upcoming flicks, autographs and Disney freebies. In fact, Lasseter himself fired free shirts with canon in the hall making the crowd go crazy.
Apart from Pixar and Disney, franchises like Marvel also showcased the never-seen-before looks of movies like “Captain America: Civil War” and few segments from “Doctor Strange.”
According to sources, more the 20,000 fans attended the Expo. It included exclusive footages from upcoming movies, concert by Disneys’ music home label, meet stars, theme parks and merchandised products.
According to NY Times, Lasseter made a special announcement about upcoming Pixar project “Toy Story 4” which is under his own direction and will hit the theater in 2017. He revealed that Woody and Bo Peep love story in the next “Toy Story” is inspired by his own marriage.
D23 Expo 2015 hosted a public exhibition for the very first time in the name of “An Animator’s Gallery: Eric Goldberg” which showcased the incredible artistry work. The unveiling of the upcoming animation flicks created a buzz all over the social media and surprising its audience by a special guest at the Expo.
