Dale Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR’s most popular driver, declares that he and his longtime girlfriend Amy Reimann got engaged on Wednesday, June 17, in Germany.


According to USA Today, Amy posted a picture of the couple on Wednesday. The happy girl was showing off her new engagement ring in the picture where the couple was posing together in a church. The source also reported that the pair is vacationing in Germany during NASCAR’s off-week.

“I’m completely overwhelmed with love & joy,” and “Happiest girl in the world! I love you so much @DaleJr,” tweeted Reimann, said the source.

“Looking forward to the rest of my life with this amazing girl,” tweeted Dale after quoting Amy’s tweet.

The never married Earnhardt Jr. has not opened up about his relationships until he started to reveal how much Amy has transformed his viewpoint on life.

ESPN reported that Dale Jr. tweeted the message as the engaged couple “visited a Lutheran church that Earnhardt’s family had attended seven generations and 300 years ago.” The source also added that the couple went to Germany for researching Dale’s family lineage this week which is “off week for Sprint Cup Series dri”ers.”

“I definitely would have a hard time writing that check,” said the 12 consecutive NASCAR Most Popular Driver award winner, when gossips regarding his personal life sparked last year.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s trip to Germany for researching his genealogy, is now a success as he has ended up in adding a member to his family by engaging to Amy Reimann, irrespective of whether he uncovered any proof related to his family history or not.
