‘Dance Moms’ Season 5 Spoilers: A Wild, Wild Episode
“Dance Moms” Season 5 Episode 7 “Wild Wild West Coast Part 1” airs on Feb. 17, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. on Lifetime. Read on to know what is going to happen in this episode.
The dance moms’ patience with dance instructor Abby Lee Miller just continues to deteriorate in their final week in LA. It was because of Miller’s favoritism issues. Maddie Ziegler is not with them because she is going to be a guest on “Austin and Ally.”
Miller recruits a couple of dancers who can be a threat to other swing dancers in the audition for the music video of pop star and internet sensation MattyB. Her attention is completely focused on the new dancers. Her managing ability is doubted when her favorite student gets the lead.
About the episode’s competition, Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) competed for Starbound in Fallbrook, California last Nov. 22, 2014, according to the show’s Wikia site. Although the list of results is vague in some parts, it was not indicated that ALDC had a first-place award. JoJo Siwa and Mackenzie Ziegler had solo performances, but both only got fourth place overall. The theme of the solos will be announced on the upcoming episode.
According to Wikia, here are some moments in the week of the competition that can be broadcasted in this episode. Mackenzie is reported to have released the single “Christmas All Year Long” in Nov. 17, which was released by Billboard on Nov. 20, 2014. Mackenzie’s“duet” with Siwa was inspired by a show from the 1950s, “I Love Lucy.” Her sister Maddie is featured in Elle magazine.
A girl named Sarah Reasons was with ALDC for her birthday week. Club Dance’s very own Brynn Rumfallo also joined the studio.
The show’s own Wikia page also implied that ALDC had more than one group routine. One of their group routines is inspired by the “Lady Marmalade” music video. The girls then portrayed the roles in the same video made for the “Moulin Rouge” movie. Siwa played Christina Aguilera, Nia Frazier, Lil Kim and Mackenzie, Mya. Another group routine from the studio is clown-inspired.
The show’s Wikia site also posted a disclaimer that the event was “more secretive.” That’s why it can make spoilers have less accuracy. Its example is the reports about the competition’s results were inconsistent. Sources claimed that the girls did not place on top. Then, the leaked photos and witnesses showed that the girls have collected awards for placing on a top spot.
