‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 Cast Updates: Maddie Ziegler Returns? Star Shares An Emotional Moment with Abby Lee Miller

There have been a lot of talk about Maddie Ziegler’s return for “Dance Moms” Season 6, after the 12-year-old Lifetime reality star seemingly expressed uncertainty over returning to the show for another season. In a recently released clip, however, it showed Ziegler’s emotional moment with ALDC coach Abby Lee Miller. Will this help get Ziegler back to the dance floor? Read on to learn more about this scoop.

“Dance Moms” Season 6 is officially confirmed and while the Lifetime reality series is already starting to look for new moms and kids to join the cast for another season, it looks like all’s well that ends well between Maddie Ziegler and Abby Lee Miller. While Abby has a reputation for acting all rude and nasty on the show, Maddie and Abby recently shared an emotional moment.

In an exclusively released clip of “Dance Moms” Season 5 finale on EW, Maddie and the other girls are seemingly having a hard time expressing the right emotions during their rehearsals. Abby told the cameras that their performance is good, but she wanted the judges to feel their emotions on stage.

“I want people to be on the edge of their seats,” Abby said.

Melissa then suggested that Maddie remember the time when she first lost someone dear to her – Abby’s mother, Maryen. Maddie immediately recounted the memory and went to hug Abby.

“It’s just hard to think about it,” Maddie told Abby.

Abby, however, encouraged her to draw emotions from that memory and likened the act to the way actors do when performing in front of the cameras.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Reality Tea, Maddie described her “Dance Moms” coach as “strict” and “demanding.” Maddie, who rose to fame following her appearance is Sia’s music videos for “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart,” revealed that Abby’s methods help them become a “better dancer.”

“She’s very, not so much mean, but she’s pushing us and always making us try to be better. But that’s just what she wants us to be,” she said.
