‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 21 Cast Rumors: Shay Mitchell Paired With Valentin Chmerkovskiy? Who Else Joins The Show?
Is “Pretty Little liars” star Shay Mitchell joining the season 21 of “Dancing with the Stars?” DWTSGossip tweeted a still shot of the actress on August 22, igniting the rumors that she would be a celebrity contestant of the show’s season 21.
Examiner.com reported that the tweet featured the still shot of the 28-year-old Mitchell, seated on a chair that appeared similar to that used in the promotional materials of “Dancing with the Stars.” Moreover, she has also previously revealed to her fans that she is interested in “competing for the mirror ball trophy,” during a question and answer session. Finally, this has led to rumors claiming that the actress would join the season 21 of the ABC Dance show.
Youth Health reported that Mitchell prefers to be a part of the ABC dance show, and that she wants to be Valentin Chmerkovskiy’s celebrity partner.
The other celebrities rumored to be a part of the season 21 of the show are singer Nick Carter, Olympic short track medalist Allison Baver, singer Andy Grammer, and surfer Bethany Hamilton.
While the “Full House” alum Jodie Sweetin was rumored to be a part of the show, she admitted that she would not appear for the season 21 even though she wished to be a part of the show, paired with Chmerkovskiy.
Few more cast rumored to join the show are Donald Trump, and Kaitlyn Bristowe, according to Youth Health. Christian Today Entertainment reported that Scott Disick is also interested in doing the show.
Despite of all the rumors making rounds, we can be sure of nine professional dancers who have been officially announced as a part of the DWTS season 21. They include Chmerkovskiy, Artem Chigvintsev, Karina Smirnoff, Peta Murgatroyd, five-time winner Derek Hough, Witney Carson, Mark Ballas, Sharna Burges and Allison Holker. However, the names of three more professional dancers of the season 21 are yet to be announced.
Stay tuned on ABC, on September 14, to watch the season 21 of your favorite “Dancing with the Stars” show.
