David Beckham Declared As People Magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ 2015 On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ Talk Show
People Magazine has named David Beckham, former England soccer player, as its “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2015, on Nov. 17. Read on for more details.
“I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person,” Beckham said. “I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don’t ever think of myself that way.”
“It’s a huge honor,” and “I’m very pleased to accept,” the former England soccer player told the People magazine, reported CNN.
Beckham disclosed that his family members were “bemused by the award.” His family commented, “We kind of laughed about it with the boys and the boys kind of laughed at me and said, ‘Really?! Sexiest man alive? Really?” He further said that his eldest son Brooklyn was the one who teased him the most by commenting, “Are you sure it’s not me that’s meant to be there today?”
According to Wikipedia entry, the Soccer turned fashion icon Beckham has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Milan, Preston North End, Paris Saint-Germain, LA Galaxy, and the England national team. He married former Spice Girl & fashion designer Victoria Beckham. The couple has four children together including 16-year-old Brooklyn, 12-year-old Romeo, 10-year-old Cruz, and 4-year-old Harper.
In spite of an international popularity as well as a long-standing “sex symbol” status, the 40-year-old David Beckham does not feel that he is attractive and sexy.
