David O. Russell Directorial ‘Joy’ Bring Back Jennifer Lawrence & Bradley Cooper Together
Jennifer Lawrence’s first look of biographical comedy “Joy” looks far from joyous, she appears aggressive. Lawrence has played sturdy characters earlier in “X-Men” and “The Hunger Games” series, but the upcoming trailer has portrayed her as a strong-willed woman who want to succeed who build her own business empire. The David O. Russell directorial “Joy” is based on Joy Mangano played by Lawrence. She is a single mother and has a family of four generations. The story follows on how Mangano overcomes unbeatable hurdles during her rags-to-riches path of the own business empire after creating Miracle Mop.
The cast includes Édgar Ramírez and Joys’ husband and Bradley Cooper as an executive in the prominent roles. Cooper plays a key role in the success of Joy by helping her to sell products.
The story of “Joy” is a beautiful attempt of one’s determination for success and finding happiness despite everything. The leading lady faces the biggest obstacle from as her own family. The movie is a real tale of joy and heartbreak at the same time.
According to Daily Mail, the film is yet to get screened but Lawrence’s performance is fur sure to reach the Oscar with “Joy.” It is further stated that Lawrence and Cooper’s combination is sure to be a success as the 2013 blockbuster “American Hustle” duo has reunited with director Russell again in “Joy”.
