‘Deadpool’ Movie 2016 News: Ryan Reynolds Shares Photos From Set

Known for playing Green Lantern or rather more famous for playing the “mercenary with a mouth” character Wade Wilson or better known as Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it is no secret that actor Ryan Reynolds is reprising the role of the mercenary in his very own standalone film for which he is currently shooting in Vancouver.

The character, who is an ex-special forces soldier was wrongly experimented on and turned into Weapon XI, later renamed as Deadpool. In the end credits of the film, audiences got to see Deadpool getting resurrected after being decapitated by Wolverine and that serves as a start up story for the character as he goes ballistic by going after the people who made him into that.


In order to promote the film, and to share more about what is happening with respect to the film, the actor has started to do his bit. Starting with a pictures of his character in action along with a few close ups of his character the actor recently made his debut on social media. He has come aboard Facebook and Instagram and the first picture he shared with his fans on Instagram is of his character involved in a dangerous stunt. One other picture that he shared was on his twitter handle, which was on Mother’s day in which he was holding a baby while dressed in his full costume.

In a recent interview with Mario Lopez, the actor mentioned how the fans of the character Deadpool were instrumental in bringing the standalone movie to life and how the studio just decided to make the movie happen after so many fans insisted the character get a movie soon.

Before concluding the interview the actor also spoke about how he is getting better in his role as a father to four-month-old daughter James as time slowly passes by.
