Better mark your calendars, TV fanatics! Here is the full list of December 2016 TV schedule. Netflix tops the list with four upcoming releases while Amazon has two shows including the most-awaited The Man in the High Castle.

Musical Trend Continues with NBC’s Hairspray Live!

According to Collider, NBC will also continue its tradition in showing live musicals at the end of the year.

The upcoming Hairspray, Live! prod follows the success of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, and The Wiz. It stars Maddie Baillio, Harvey Fierstein, and Kristin Chenoweth. The show will also include special participations of Ariana Grande, Derek Hough, and Jennifer Hudson.

Hairspray Live! premieres on Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Fuller House Season 2

The streaming brings back the nostalgia yet again. This time, Fuller House Season 2 will continue where it left off after the first reboot season. The streaming service also adds two new animated series to its rosters. One of which is Pacific Heat.

Meanwhile, Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro showcases his fantasy-horror genre skills in Trollhunters. The animated series features the voice of Ron Perlman, Kelsey Grammer, and the late Anton Yelchin.

Fuller House Season 2 premieres on Dec. 9 on Netflix.

The Man in the High Castle

The series was adapted from a post-apocalyptic dystopian novel from Phillip K. Dick. The Ridley Scott-led show is about an alternative world if the Japan and Germany won the World War 2. It stars Alexa Davalos (Juliana), Rupert Evans (Frank), Luke Kleintank (Joe) and Rufus Sewell (John).

The Man in High Castle premieres on Dec. 16 on Amazon.

STAR

Fox will expand its successful take on music-themed drama genre. Empire creator Lee Daniels leads the team for STAR. The story follows three unique ladies who dream to be part of the music industry. They will take on a journey to become Atlanta’s top musical stars.

The series includes Jude Demorest as Star, Brittany O’Grady as Simone and Ryan Destiny as Alexandra. Other cast members are Queen Latifah and Benjamin Bratt with guest star Lenny Kravitz.

On December 14, STAR will debut with a special preview after Empire.
