Desperate Housewives Series Finale
This is the final time we go to Wisteria Lane as Desperate Housewives airs its last episode. There are promises made by the cast that the ending will satisfy its fans but they tried to keep its details a secret for months.
During the housewives’ last poker game, Susan (Teri Hatcher) says that some people never get to know the folks next door. It sets up a series of flash forwards in the future of the ladies of Wisteria Lane. It shows that everyone moves out of Wisteria Lane and live in different places.
Gabby (Eva Longoria) starts her own online shopping web site on the Home Shopping Network. She is seen arguing with her husband Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) in their large house in California.
Lynette (Felicity Huffman) takes the job in New York and is living with Tom (Doug Savant). They now live in a penthouse in the city and have six grandchildren.
Bree (Marcia Cross) now lives with her new husband Trip in Kentucky. She’s now part of the Kentucky State Legislature.
As for Susan, she is shown welcoming a new housewife into her home before she moves out of Wisteria Lane. Then before the screen cut to black, it shows the new housewife having her own secrets. It looks like Wisteria Lane will remain the same even if the original housewives have already moved out of it. Then while driving around the block for the last time, Susan sees the ghosts of Wisteria Lane past from Mike to Mary Alice.
The Desperate Housewives series finale has a birth (Susan’s grandchild), Mrs. McCluskey dies, and Renee gets married in a stolen wedding dress. The two hour long finale has a lot of things going on but there are some not satisfied with the ending of the series that they loved from the start.
