Did Taylor Swift Delay Airport Operations In Japan?
We all know Taylor Swift is a sensation not just in the U.S., but all over the world. However, we didn’t really think the young singer/songwriter could change flight schedules especially in a country where tardiness is a big NO! Read on for more details.
Yes! We are talking about Swift landing in the land of the rising sun, Japan, for her world tour.
According to TMZ, the singer was reported to have landed in Narita Airport, Chiba, Japan on Sunday, May 3, 2015. Swift was in the country to pay tribute to her Japanese fans and to start off her “1989 World Tour”.
The outlet reported that fans mobbed the lovely Swift who was seen wearing a black dress and a necklace with a “T” initial. She matched her outfit with sky-high heels while still maintaining her posture despite the crowd flocking around her.
However, the eager fans during Swift’s arrival in Japan have also caused at least two flights to be delayed. The report went on saying the crowd was big enough to affect the airport operations.
The “Shake It Off” singer has been widely known to reward loyal fans. Despite security ushering Swift away from the mobbing crowd, she desperately tried to sign an autograph for her fans and do a quick pose for a photo.
Recently, Swift has rewarded a fan who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and later on died of the disease. She also granted the wish of the late Jalene Salinas in March this year and spent 20 minutes to talk with the girl.
On the other hand, Japan has been known to be a hot spot for numerous recent concerts. Katy Perry was in the country last week while One Direction has also performed in Japan last March. However, none of these acts have been known to perform in the same venue including Swift who will take the stage of the Tokyo Dome. Check out the crazy video of Swift being mobbed by her fans upon arrival at the airport.
