Diplo Says F*cking With Taylor Swift Was One Of The Biggest Mistakes In His Career

Diplo is still not over his feud with Taylor Swift. In an interview with GQ Style, the musician revealed that “f*cking” with the “1989” singer was “one of the biggest mistakes” in his career.

Although Taylor Swift and Diplo have settled their feud in February, Diplo seemed to be harvesting some ill feelings towards the “Style” singer. It was reported that the Grammy-nominated DJ even took it out on Swifts loyal fans, the Swifties.

Speaking to GQ Style magazine, Diplo looked back on what he claims was one of the biggest mistakes in his career: fighting with Taylor and her legion of Swifties.

“One of the biggest mistakes of my career was definitely fucking with her. She has like 50 million people that will die for her,” he said.

His statement came a bit odd given that Diplo and Taylor met at the 2015 Grammy Awards and they seemed to have hit it off. He even posted an adorable photo of the two of them together in his Instagram page. We wonder what went wrong

Early this year, Diplo told GQ that he’s “afraid for his life” when some Swifties “threatened to murder him”. He said that Taylor’s fans were the “worst people in the world.”

The feud between Taylor and Diplo first started when the DJ asked his followers on Twitter to start a kickstarter campaign to “get Taylor Swift a booty.” Swifties, of course, would not stand his diss and quickly jump to Taylor’s defense. Her BFF Lorde, also fired back at the producer. Some fans, however, were quick to speculate that Diplo was only trying to help rumored girlfriend Katy Perry sabotage Taylor’s reputation.

Do you think Taylor Swift and Diplo would ever be friends? Do you think Diplo’s diss was his way to get on Katy Perry’s good side? Sound off in the comments below.
